M19 Protest - Portland, Oregon

Anti-War / Anti-Bush Protest in Portland, Oregon on March 19th. Estimations of aproxamently 10-20K people showed up for this protest, and if you stood on a street courner when the first protesters passed, you would be waiting an hour to be able to cross the street.

I am ashamed of you all, you held up traffic for a little while, then went home and ate dinner, So what? Go home and raise your kids, keep some old folks company, share compassion and set an example for "the streets of the world." and that is how you will change them.

Feel free to be ashamed. I don't see how the protest cost tax dollars. The police were going to get payed if they were at the protest or on the streets. And the Protest had to pay for permits from the city.

But without action, there is no form of reaction, No matter how big or small it may be. But It would be more convenient for those who don't care, or who would rather we don't care, would rather us be 'Good Americans' and remain silent, ignorant, and out of sight.
