Cindy Sheehan and Friends push Pelosi to Impeach

On January 14 Cindy Sheehan and others taking a stand against the Iraq Occupation and additional US government crimes delivered protest letters to Nancy Pelosi. Experienced activists spoke outside the building and then several people carried letters and signatures to Pelosi's office. An impeachment of Bush or Cheney is impossible with the current corruption in DC but taking a stand for the Constition and against war crimes is a step toward change.

Democratic Party candidates are using the tone of peace and social justice activism, but not the real themes. For real news, www.democracynow.org is quite valuable. www.commondreams.org is helpful though it has rather a large volume of commentary.

I just want to ask everyone a question on this post. What makes you think Cindy Sheehan is going to serve the people of this country? This run agasint Pelosi is just a personal agenda to avenge her sons death, thus, making her no better than other politicians who attend to there personal agenda. Next thing she is going to want is a holiday in the name of her son. I feel terrible that her son died, but she is clearly not running to serve the people.
