Do you have to use raw honey? Can you use just regular honey like the one that comes in the bottle in the shape of a bear? Or is that processed and not good?

@brawyn777 Hi, honey can act as a soothing coating on the esophageal wall. It coats the lining of the throat and can help diminish the burning and help heal the damage caused by acid reflux. The thickness of the honey can help prevent additional acid from coming up and further damaging the esophagus.I would suggest a teaspoon after every meal. If it's hard for him to take it plain, you can try diluting it in tea or warm water and sipping it. I hope it helps him:o)

My 2 year old grandson suffers from eczema and other skin issues...which seem to only be somewhat controlled with steroid type creams...he even became affected with the mrsa virus when he was much younger (which thank goodness was caught in time after a hospital stay) so my question is...do you think the honey would or could help him with these skin problems and do you have a link or source to the Medi-Honey that you could share with us?

@justperfect59 Hi, I'm not sure if it is suitable to heal eczema and things of that nature. You may want to ask your grandson's pediatrician for their thoughts before attempting to use it. If you are interested in learning more about Medi-Honey there are quite a few website with information. I do not have one specific that I can recommend. I hope your little grandson feels better soon :o)
