I finally got around to using and had a great opportunity to test my new anti fog stuff.

Remind me next time we meet havedogwillscooter, and I'll bring the can with me so you can try it out too.

  • i could use some anti fog spray. my helmet has tons of ventilation, but when its cold, my visor is almost completely blocked. i usually just open it up, but in the cold, its not too comfortable on the face.

  • Yeah, it can hurt a little to leave it open above 20 if it's very cold at all :)

There's also something called "cat crap" that's supposed to be a pretty good anti-fog also. I think it's a paste you just rub on if you can't find anything at the local store.

  • hahahahah that is one of the most ridiculous names i've ever heard. i'll look into it. hopefully it has nothing to do with its title =X

  • Yeah, I was a little disappointed to find that using actual cat crap smelled bad, and is not very transparent :) (people also look at you funny :/) Theirs, however I hear is quite effective.

Guess it's a marketing scheme... worked pretty good on me- I remember it every time I think of anti-fog now haha

  • i need to get me some off tht stuff. Does it smell like anything?

  • nope, i haven't noticed any smell yet

  • HAHAHAH well played, sir. ya, i dont think i'll be forgetting that brand name at all!

  • @Tvinky i've thought about it but it just looks to fugly plus with my Shoei helmet I can set the visor to where it's only open like 1/32 of an inch or smaller to keep fog from happening at all. Even in summer I can't ride with my visor 100% closed.

  • Have you tried pin-lock for visor? I want to buy one for my helmet.

  • I have not tried that particular stuff but I've tried others that have failed horribly, may have to try that though.

  • Im going to have to see if I can find that stuff around here.
