This is a USB charger that has support for iPhone and iPod Touch. It was build out of spare parts I had from old broken circuit boards.

    It was the end of a USB extension cable i got at the dollar store.

  • @electronics740 I think it's the same as mine (3rd gen). You need to use all the USB pins. red wire = 5v, black = ground, the other 2 are data lines and they need to have 2v each. I used a voltage divider with 2 33K resisters and 2 22K resisters to get the 2v.

  • I'm using a computer power supply. So I have a red and black that's putting out 5v. I have it connected to - and + on the USB. Just need to know how I can get the 2v to the data lines.
