  • this is so stupid.

  • WOW this was so helpful!

  • That totally went over my head.

  • @MasterLuigi117 You cant really say this, parallel universes WOULD kindoff mean going side to side/up or down. There are some claims that we just cant be sure of, yet.

  • @grrfu your right. time has no depth of height. it is strictly linear. You can progress forward in time, Or backwards. Not side to side, or up and down. Kudos to you sir :D

  • @MasterLuigi117 the only 1D phenomenon i can think of is time. it fits all the criteria! it has length, but no depth or width. but i do see what you mean, because the lower dimensions are rapped around the higher ones. i do suppose it would be better for most people to understand. im a bit different than most people with the way i learn. (sry i posted it on the general comments by mistake at first)

  • @grrfu

they were using it as an example. It would more be like a line that you can only move along. If you lived in this dimension you could go only forward and backward along this line. You would be a point on this line; unable to deviate from your 1D path much like a train on tracks. U can only go where the line allows you 2 go. Any movement off of this line would mean you have ventured into the 2nd dimension which would be a flat plane the same thickness as the line. (Like a sheet of paper.)

  • oh i hate it when they say they the other dimensions would be on the 1d lide like ants on a string. if that were the case it wouldnt be 1d anymore would it?? it would have thickness, thus not 1d.
