V8 Fiero at Road America Road Race Track

This video shows a 1988 Pontiac Fiero Notchback with a V8 engine swap on the Road America road race track in Wisconsin. The video features a walk around the car, a diagram of the Road America Course and a cockpit cam video of one of the laps around the track turning a "touring" session.

Close. It's a new Chevy crate engine based on the LM1. This one is modified with a Camero TPI fuel injection.

I'm glad you posted this :) most of the fiero stuff seems to be drag raceing (wich is ok.. but turns are more fun :p)

Nice vid. Going through the gears a little slow... but I guess the cars in front of you don't help, you were probably taking it easy. My V8 Fiero goes through the gears insane fast, then again 400 HP and 420 torque may have some thing to do with that.

One very classy lookin Fiero, allways thought silver looked best. You're "only" getting 270HP I'd guess from a TPI setup...more boulevard(sp?) setup than boy racer. REALLY nice ride...congrats!
