Conservapedia - The FBI Incident

The FBI Incident is yet another embarrassing moment in the history of Conservapedia, a fundamentalist Christian blog created by homeschool teacher Andy Schlafly.

In 2007, a user used automated software to alter 80 of the site's pages. The damage was minimal and quickly reverted, however Andy felt the need to report the incident to the FBI. The more sane users of Conservapedia expressed doubt at Andy's scheme, and as they assumed, the FBI did not rush to Andy's assistance.

To prevent further embarrassment, all traces of the FBI Incident were removed from Conservapedia, and even mentioning the FBI will earn you a lifetime ban. A full report on the FBI Incident can be seen at:

I dunno about that, there's no real need to make Andy look any more foolish, he's more than capable of doing it himself. He has only remnants of his former credibility left within the conservative community, and it'll be gone before long.

It's actually happening right now, there's currently a lot of talk on the net about his "bible retranslation project", with many conservative and christian-based sites making fun of it as well.

Conservapedia is one giant joke. The fact they think the Question evolution! campaign will do anything to persuade the public to accept psuedoscience, shows how silly they are. Really, possibly some of the dumbest people I've ever seen. :D
