Timeshift movie trailer (Fake)

A request by namdrut, based on the game of the same name.
There were two versions of this game at two different times (ironically enough). One was a more story driven game about an elite soldier sent back in time to stop a madman from changing history. The final incarnation was streamlined to be more realistic, the simpler story being delivered in little intervals . 'As the suit malfunctions' the developer explained during an interview 'the story does too.' I tried to capture that idea in this trailer, mixing up scenes and adding static to give the impression of flickering events outside of time. I also included the original title and taglines of the first Timeshift game though to emphasize the story. Although the new Timeshift is better technically then the older one, it was criticized for having a shallow and not altogether interesting plot. The ideal Timeshift film I think would be a combination of both concepts: a story which flashes backwards and forewords like the final version, but also a bit more of the original character driven story to tie it together. The original title for Timeshift I think looks better then the new one, leastwise more like the title in a movie trailer.

There were two versions of this game! The first used a much more flamboyant and detailed style and was motivated by a story about a soldier who had to fight his old partner and perhaps bring his daughter back to life in a race through various ages of time. The released version had little story (quick flashbacks only) and was set only in the far future. The first edition was actually nearing completion when the game execs scrapped it! 0_0

Оху...ный ролик получился, по крайней мере единственный красивый ролик о Time Shift который я видел, сам даже пытался сделать, но так и не сделал, слишком (так сказать) школотовски получилось. А здесь даже музыка подобрана почти идеально =) В общем супер, автору респект!

@weldonwin OHH i see but still they really should make a movie like that or make a newer model of the game, or just another part to it and with better game play online play and graphics im sure id would be a hit.

@jcouto17 There was an early version that was slated for release a year ealier but was frankly not very good. It featured ugly graphics, weak use of the time shifting mechanic and was pretty rushed. When the studio got taken over by Vivendi, the team were given a big injection of cash and a full year more to work on the game
