Since theirs already a video of the men's track records on youtube I decided to make a video for the women's! :) This is also useful because some of these videos are hard to find.

Get your facts right, there are 12 women athletes who have run faster than Semenya in the 800 metres, most recently Jelimo of kenya who ran 1.54.01 and Defar is only the 5th fastest women ever over 10,000m

see you have caster semenya as the world record holder in the 800 meters but you are wrong the record holder for the event is jarmila kratochvilova of Czechoslovakia in Munich Germany in the year 1983 the time is 1:53.28. Was believed these athletes from the old eastern European countries was big on doping in those days.but was not proven up to this day
