The group singing is called Ka Momi, Singing Lead is Ala, or formerly known as Akoni. On bass is Gobbles and Ho'omanawanui on guitar. Super awsome they played for my daughters party in waimanalo only instead of gobbles playing it was keoni souza, i had to book them 1yr in advance lol no even kidding! But so worth it! Oh and they are playing at a small little bar at the Pacific Marina Hotel or Motel, next to ke'ehi lagoon in the back of chevron. every fridays and saturdays around 8 0r 9 oclock.

Maika'i ke la! He meni hou oe! This song was written by my great grand mother and her name was Elizibeth Kuahuia. She was born and raised in Miloli'i, South Kona and she talks about the tidal wave that hit miloli'i, and yes it's the same one that hit hilo. I miss hearing this song or any other songs being sung by my anakala's or anake's in miloli'i. Now it's all up to my cousin kealoha! Me ke aloha pumehana, Kalapana
