Star Wars - Wizard of Oz connection

Star Wars Comic at http://www.star-wars-comic.com/star-wars-characters-18.html presents the Star Wars - Wizard of Oz connection. There are several examples, which are all listed in the link above, that George Lucas stole many of his ideas for Star Wars from The Wizard of Oz.

When Dorothy dumps water on the Wicked Witch of the West she disappears leaving nothing but her dress; then Toto, a flying monkey, and the head guard all prod at the dress. When Darth Vader kills Obi-Wan Kenobi he disappears leaving nothing but his robe; then Darth Vader steps on the robe.
