the reason your nitrates are showing zero is because the algae are using them up, your getting a false 0

@afrankdapimp12 That and the deep sand bed. Please visit my 3 videos on deep sand beds to learn more on how a deep sand bed can serve as a natural filter that consumes nitrates and recycles them as a form of nitrogen gas.
