Unlike Thomas Fuchs I know the art of hearing and also the art of listening and I was gifted with a brain. Where or why do you get off at discrediting another person? If you have contrasting opinions so be it but keep it to yourself meng. I found this educational and informative and although things he said may be a bit shady there was a lot of knowledge passed down. The only thing I can say is keep these videos coming BH thanks. Can you add a microphone or something that captures the audience?

Thanks for your comment. Since this video, we've added captions to all audience questions, and we will continue to do that until we add an audience mic to the Event Space setup.

For all commentators, the info at 7:25 about APS-C 17mm is a typo, it should be 27mm, and to be honest I believe it should be around 35mm. anyway. hope this helps.

Yes, that's true, good catch. It should be in that range for APS-C.

loads of false myth and untruth told here, UV filters for digital cameras? Sensor of D3 out resolving medium format film? Guy likes to talk about his awesomness, good thing I don't have to sit next to this guy at dinner

I've had my videos from BH stop in the middle of watching many times, I just reload and it starts where I left off.

Great masterclass with a very good "communicator".

...But it is a bit scary to see how even a fully-fledged professional can perpetuate some common myths.

Once and for all: Using a zoom is NOT the same as using a fixed-focal lens and then moving backwards or forward.

Once the camera is moved from a tri-dimensional point in space, the POV changes and, as such, one's not taking the same photo when a zoom is replaced by a prime+camera movement.
