Android 2.2 FroYo on my G1 32B (Really fast!)

Just checking out the soon to be FroYo rom on my G1 before it hits the Nexus One... How cool is that?

So far it seems to run faster than Eclair does on the G1, but I guess time will tell seeing how this is just the SDK. No radio or anything yet. Can't wait for the full release.

@iLYK2PWN What you guys finally got froyo? At least the G1's GPS worked. Oh and it had updates pushed to it for how long? RFS fragmentation slowing you down? Try EXT. Oh wait, you can't without a voodoo kernel. And it's still not even a full EXT Conversion. But at least the OLED is nice right? ...Oh yeah, I have a Galaxy S also. Lol, this is old bro. :P

I'm going by the press release of froyo, where one of the android developers from google said, "up to 450% faster" because of JIT.

That's funny alot of people tells me it's faster but those who actually are using this telling it's slow. I was hoping this new firmware would increase my g1 performance sigh..

@zelgadiss Well, it is faster but it's also bloated... So it uses a lot of ram and processor. That being said, it's performance is faster but you can't use it at its full potential on slower hardware.
