This is a song I wrote about the times in which we try to do something nice for someone else, and it simply backfires. It is connected to the music industry, in ways, because many music artists can relate on the idea that we just try to offer our music in our own creative ways, not thinking about the financial outcome, and how unfortunate it is that the "whole world glares" right back by not recognizing our efforts to keep music real.
