most people just hate Crosby because hes been succesful. His career has been overshadowed by Ovie, who is two years older than crosby, I would call Crosby haters bandwagen jumpers before i would call crosby fans jumpers. They don't put Gaborik in the limelight because, in my opinion, Gaborik is inconsistent and injury prone, he also fucked over the Wild franchise in the last couple of years.

like sometimes i look at a play and be like cmon sissy get your ass off the ice
hahha and im a pens fan dont get me wrong
but also as a hockey player im less tolerant to that type of stuff
i do however know some good players who just play like that hah
but i think a big aspect of the nhl is that theres not only one person whos "the best"
because in any sport everyone has their overall strengths and weaknesses

and honestly, it doesn't matter that think gaborik is the best....i personally think pavel datsyuk is the best player in the nhl overall due to amazing puck handling skills, two-way ability, and the fact he puts up numbers. does that mean i should start ripping on crosby because datsyuk, IN MY OPINION, is the best player in the nhl and is underrated? no...it just means that my opinion differs from the direction the nhl has taken in terms of marketing.

he's in 6th because he's tied with the 5th and 4th positions. i agree credit should be given where it's deserved, but that doesn't mean you should take away from what one player is doing (sid) bcuz another player (such as gaborik) is underrated. i'm not a huge crosby fan, i'm just saying he produces. i think the management of the penguins knows their players better than we do, & if the defending stanley cup champions have him at center on the top line, i would have to think he's pretty good.
