@GBeret83 - I like the Gentlemen who calls the races at Churchill, and was disappointed when Trevor Denman called the BC intead. Dan Loiselle is da man:) I like his 2010 QP call.

One of Dan Losielle's best calls is the 2001 Queens Plate that was won by Dancethruthedawn. It happens to be here on Youtube.

@brothaman007, I know he doesn't call any American races. But the gentleman that call's the races in Dubai, Terry Spargo, IMO, does a great job at letting you know the progress of every horse in the race. He does it masterfully as the race progresses. IMO.

Really? Most of the time he just says XXX is 10th. Paul Allen may be the best there is at describing what is going on with each horse. Tells you where the horse is, who's around him, what movement he has, and how far he has to come.

Tom Durkin is the best at letting you know the progress of horses other than the top 3-5 horses.

I always hear the crowd cheering at Woodbine during the call, but never can elsewhere....I wonder why. I think it's a fantastic idea, and the crowd should not be "muted"
