frankly i've never heard Sarah's Think of me, only a couple of other songs, i guess i will and comapare

as to the Phantom's voice, strictly speaking neither Butler nor Crawford fit because according to the book the Phantom could both sing like an angel and like a demon from hell... One can't call Butler's singing angelic and Crawford's demonic

well anyway it's a matter of taste, i prefer emotion to professionalism and can't help it :) but i'll try Sarah's think of me )))))

@CoralBR98 Gerard defintely doesn't have vibrato because he's only an actor not a trained singer or.... just a singer. But I do have to disagree with you about Emmy :/ Emmy does have vibrato. I think Sarah's voice is like all vibrato (that's not a bad thing!) like every note is vibrato, never a flat tone which shows her expertise.

Mind you that Emmy was only 16 so she might not have been as skilled as Sarah. But Emmy's voice I found was angelic, soft and youthful. I like both their voices.

I like Gerards voice because it can sound so beautiful and more angelic yet he definitely has his moments where he makes his voice sound so evil or angry! :)

Honestly, I know I'm supposed to respect other people's opinions, but I'd rather be honest: I cannot understand how anyone (unless you prefer pop music) could say Emmy and Gerard are in any way better than Sarah or Michael. Neither of them in the movie have any vibrato, and if Gerard Butler wasn't hot along with an incredibly minor deformity (which doesn't even make SENSE for Erik), I doubt he would have as many fangirls. Sarah's voice is pure and soars while Emmy's is nasally and lacks range.

@Hedgiemonster - as i recall he was described as having the face of a demon but the voice of an angel and honestly i will give credit to the make-up done in the movie... they did well on the dis-figuration but butler doesnt have the voice to pull off that role
