  • Also, can you tell me how you prop your phone up on the boards? It says uploaded from an Android phone, I have one too, and I've always wanted to be able to film skating on it, but I can't figure out how without it falling over or someone holding it.

  • @julianaqtpi It was not easy. You can see my hand at the beginning trying to get it to stay. I set it on it's side and then leaned it up against my Gatorade bottle. Then hoped it was (a) pointing where I was skating (b) stayed upright and (c) actually stayed recording. Only 2 out of about 8 videos actually recorded. It would start recording and then stop. So glad my flip cam is working again. Much easier.

  • great!!i hate i can't do laybacks,somehow i always lose control when i try it,and my back isn't flexible at all!

  • @charlinetje thanks! It's taken me a year to get to this point. I stretch every day and practice them every session.

  • Nice!

  • @julianaqtpi Thank you!

  • @balletbarrister Haha good idea! Problem is my water bottle is too wide to be able to prop my phone up against without one or the other falling off... Better not be my phone! Lol, maybe I'll try that sometime. I never think about recording during practice though, and I never have time to upload videos- soooo busy!

  • @charlinetje Same here, I hate it! Laybacks are such pretty spins, I just wish mine was good all the time. I can do a decent layback under pressure, like it will be horrible in competition warm-up, as in 2 revs and falling over, but as soon as I'm competing, it's 5 revolutions and balanced!
