It's not suppose to be a "round back" technique. You just keep your upper body relaxed, but your lower back MUST be arched. The goal isn't to deliberately round your entire back, but to relax to the shoulders etc rather than pulling them back like most do. It's hard to tell if your lower back is arched, in some reps it does NOT look like it is, so be very careful. Stop trying to arch your back and just focus on relaxing the shoulders and keeping the back arched and you'll naturally do it right.
Rockin' it Bob Peoples style, I like it! I'm thinking about trying this technique out myself (at a very lightweight mind you). BTW, Do you hold your breath as you extend?
