@cmls1987 Same problem here. I have a replacement socket -- you can get them on ebay for cheap -- but I'm not sure how to remove the broken one, or connect the new one. It is so small!

for people following his video.... NEVER TOUCH ANYTHING METAL WHILE IT IS PLUGGED IN and always touch grounded metal. It could fry the chipset, or worse, you.

Hey man, I have a little problem (sorry for my english) The little switch on my psp motherboard where i connect the LCD backlight cable, fell off :( and I don't know how to fix it :( If i send you a pic of what happened can you give me a few tips?

i used this video about 3 years ago when i had the same problem-my backlight wouldn't turn on. i bought a soldering iron and soldering wire just for this. i soldered both ends of that tiny fuse and my psp (fat 1000) works to this very day! thanks

@zerolv30000 Although your comment was undeniable funny as fuck. Unfortunately no ones African American, in fact no where near. Were actually Spanish. He has a speech impediment combined with the "African American Hood accent" so that is what unfortunately makes him so hard to understand at times.
