2x Ati Radeon HD4870 in Crossfire - fans running at 100% - its terrible noise ,but it isnt required to run it at full rpm ,i just wanna show how loud it is. Optimal fan speed is about 30% then card is cool and quiet. On first seconds of the movie fans running at 30%

  • why do you have 2 croosfire bridges thats not even needed i even heared it makes performance worse

  • @exer45 running on one from a lot of time.

  • @Dzorcz7 no i mean you used 2 bridges to connect the 2 cards you only need 1

when you use 2 it will get you worse performance

  • @exer45 i used two at first time cuz i didnt know i need only one, two bridge can cause only some graphics issues, no performance problems. And btw i have referenced graphics but some non-referenced cards needs two bridges to work properly.

  • hey i have a radeon 3600 and bought a 4770. can i combine these two cards in one pc to get more power??

  • @nicomenges officially you cant crossfire two different series. Sell 3600 and try to buy second 4770.

  • @Dzorcz7 Hey dzorcz, could you help me? I have radeon hd 4870 GPU and i would like to get another radeon hd 4870. So i should be able to combine them? And perhaps you know how much power would it use? I now have 500watts PSU.

  • My old vacuum cleaner does such noise

  • 5...4...3...2...1...FJUUUUUUUIII

  • Sry but the second crossifre connector is for tripple crosfire and 100% fan speed on these is like an jet engine

  • @mupet00000 inorite? its like music for geeks

  • That sound is really bassy on a subwoofer!

  • @staggus MEH! not really the GTX260 core 216 beats it in just about everything yes even the 1gig version by about 25 FPS in all games except Half life 2. and that "DOES NOT" mean every mod using HL2 scaling either. I hate to say it cause I really like AMD/ATI. I think they offer better products for the price. But facts are facts the GTX260 is a better card

  • @nicomenges kind of...the two cards will only be as fast as the slowest card. Meaning the 4770 will downgrade to 3600 speeds. You will NOT get the full power of the 4770. You are better off just running the 4770 alone, you'll get better performance.

  • @exer45 maybe he has an older chipset. With older chipsets Prior 790FX you need 2 bridges.

  • @Wookie1234567 Not true just got to ati.com and do a little research they offer way more info about how things work. CHeck out their forums the GPU engies actually are active in the forums to answer any question you might have.
