NBC's great series "Heroes" never struck me as a political show until I noticed a recent plot twist that seemed like an allegory for a 9/11 conspiracy theory. I put together these short clips so you can decide for yourself if I'm right.

A the time of this upload, you can see the entire "Heroes" episode (titled ".07%") from which I took the short clips for my video on the NBC website at: http://www.nbc.com/Video/rewind/full_episodes/heroes.shtml?show=heroes19

  • Yeah, the plot is probably taken from Watchmen more than the 9/11 conspiracy theory that the towers were taken down to drum up support for an unpopular president and some middle eastern wars. Though, it would have been interesting if it was the other way around. I would have liked to see where the show went from there if that were the case.

  • @pdblouin33 The movie ends with them blaming Doctor Manhattan instead of creating an outside alien threat like in the graphic novel.

  • destroy infrastructure, for new infrastructure (kill people to get new people in their place)

  • That nuke goes off Nov 8 2010

  • NBC`s HEROES is brilliant !..Your comments are correct ! The US Government did take advantage of 9/11 ! Just look at the 2004 Presidential election ! Patriot Act !!

  • heroes are fake and gay

  • Great video, but in retrospect, Watchmen has the same scenario. I don't think it is a nod to the 9/11 conspiracy theories. Watchmen happened in New York also - the original graphic novel version. I forget how the movie ends.

  • if you hsvr no access to a fortune 100 companies treasury, #UN#, the have the supreme court just made your vote obsolete

  • Dear FarsiBaladneest,

    You quoted,

Youre saying extremists are muslim because they believe in mohammad.

    You quoted,

When I say they are not Muslims, that is because they are not muslims, BECAUSE THEY DO NOT BELIEVE IN THE (CORRECT) ISLAMIC LAWS but make their own.

You started the term "believe in". So you still the relationship between Muslims and prophet Mohammad?

  • Dear FarsiBaladneest, You quoted,

Youare simply using ALL information which could demonize Islam, even though it contradicts itself.

I am speaking the truth. All the information provided are the truth. If you as Muslim think they are demeaning, then Islam teaches fellow Muslims do such act. Why blame me?

It's just like news broadcaster reporting plane crash, why blame the person who announces it?
