Playing this game
Really brought me to tears at times cause u get to know the people, and you learn what their like and then they sacrifece their lives, to stop some dwarves from collapsing the tower of babel!!!!!

@WCarnation You're definitely didn't played the game. If you really follow the story, you'll understand. Unfortunately, the GBA version scrapped the better words from SNES, make it harder to get.
But yes, the ending of FF6 did explained everything.

The best game it's absolutely NOTabout a graphics...There are system, gameplay, cast of characters (which it to be honest, the most important to build feelings to the game) & their development throughout the game, interfaces, choice of scenes/action, music, and many thing to count something to have 'BEST' predicate.
People recently only judged the best based on graphics. And of course, that's totally wrong. Many great game with the not-so-HD graphics, like Pokemon, Ragnarok Online, etc

Not my favorite game, nor RPG, nor FF...
But best ending ever !
But traduction is changed in this version ? (Normally, Sabin said "now I know what for those stupid muscles serve") (yes, i like a lot the Figaro's bros part)

I think this one had the best characters and character development. Everyones story was so intense. I was hoping for a better ending.
