I was about four feet to your left and when you sang like that when it was totally silent it was awesome! So glad you had the confidence to carry the notes when you must have realized everyone there could hear you.
It was incredible and Corey totally loved it!
You rock! It was one of the highlights of the show. Thanks so much for sharing and good job singing!!!
@shoolttzie I was just in the moment... that song is so amazing and that was the most intimate show I've ever been to with someone I really idolize. I have since realized I can't sing a bit like Corey. I didn't do bad but being there as opposed to at a Slipknot show, being so close, feeling the power of his voice. I left that show with an overwhelming sense of knowing that no matter how much people shit on Slipknot or Stone Sour that Corey is an amazing artist and vocalist.
@helopilot08 Agreed, I have found a lot of shows where some Maggot just screams it out with I'll placed timing, etc. I was just caught in the moment of enjoying the song... so chimed in... not thinking the first time that it would be so noticeable.
So far of all of these videos our show seems to be the most unique... he stops to clap his hands at all of them but he gave us the most love. I can say I have seen several bands across the county, The Know being one I've seen multiple times. Bands always claim on stage "this is the best town to visit" and people in Detroit say "oh, they say that in every city" But I can tell you... several bands... Rob Zombie, Slipknot, Manson... they all say it in Detroit and rarely do they say it else where!
