actually there is a very good reason why the volt is being extricated. being your retired you wouldnt understand brother. its all about air bags being added, hybrids and batteries moving in cars. and this one my friend is one of the many that first responders need to keep an eye on. I give this short clip a A+. good job GM for showing this!

I'm a retired firefighter/paramedic and have done extrication's for years. A) Cutting the roof or doors off of any car, whether electric or not, is not going to result in contact with high current. This is just a PR event that GM is using to promote the Volt. B) If this were a live extrication, they would have hit the driver in head with that roof @ 1:25.

I love Chevy too. But GM needs to be smarter. They need to lower the price of the volt.
