@Muirmaiden he gave Jack vulnerability, but not more than Matthew. Not early JnJ Matthew, or even current PTSD Jack Matthew, but I will agree when he came back a decade ago the focus was too much on "goofy" Jack and not enough on 3 dimensional Jack. Based on how Missy is playing Jenn now? I prefer Stephanie, who I think ended up doing an incredible job and doesn't get enough credit.

@Har19 Melissa broke her contract, she wasn't fired cause of some behind the scenes "stuff" her husband demanded she leave the show or their marriage was over so Missy left.

Stephanie was an ok Jennifer, but she didn't match the emotion Melissa put into her. As for Mark as Jack... TONS better than Matthew.

Mark Valley gave Jack more vulnerability than Matthew Ashford - Stephanie Cameron was okay as far as recasts go but of course the role of Jennifer belongs to Melissa Reeves. Jason Brooks was great as Peter.

@Getrealpeeps No by this time Missy had been fired/broke her contract. Stephanie Cameron is playing Jennifer in this scene, she wasn't very good but she was pretty much like an emergency recast if I ever saw one.

Well, I'm certainly glad to see that Jennifer finally came to her senses. She used to be one of the smartest peeps in Days, then she turned stupid, trusting Peter COMPLETELY (even though she hardly knew anything about him, except what he had told her - are peeps really this dense?) and not believing anything Jack told her about him. (Believe it or not, we're still in the 1996 episodes here in Barbados!)
