Marrickville Recycling

I was planning to get this video up a month after the garbage collection, so I guess it was about a 20 month delay? This was a truck I had no intention of seeing that Tuesday morning, however surprise surprise as it spun into the street I was waiting on when I saw one of these guys getting the bins set-up. So here is another fast Marrickville team working their way through all the recycling bins with their new rear loader. I was also very inspired with how accurately one of the loaders spins the bins onto the lifter... it's hard to miss a skill like that! Nice vid why don't they use side loaders Mitch is it because of the cars?

@my1xr6 Yeh the parked cars would definitely be a reason, but there are also lights of tight streets and one way roads to service.

Awsome vid. Those Superior Pak/Compaction Systems are some fast RLs, a shame we don't have them here.

@georgewuzheer This truck gives a good impression with the speedy lifts and reload time hey? Down here they are generally known to be a slower design, particularly with the unloading process, last packing stage and sometimes the lifters. They are still the toughest and hardest packing bodies, but you have to compare the speed to a MacDonald Johnston...

Awesome, and quick drivers! Way fast packer, but I'd hate to be the driver on that, having to constantly search while you're driving for bins but with all the parked cars in your way, just a challenge I guess. Very entertaining vid, thanks a ton Mitch!

@legodude24652 Most places use side loaders for the recycling, but a chunk of the region surrounding the Sydney CBD is full of tight streets and laneways, so SLs are not ideal in certain councils.
