1984 Rabbit Turbodiesel

My friends work in progress, a 1984 Volkswagen Rabbit turbodiesel. Only so many of the 1.6L diesels were made with turbochargers, and this Rabbit is one of them. In this video there is no exhaust on it yet, everything is coming straight out the turbo.

What front end is on it? Westy? Or just stock? I love the calypso Green. I'm actually looking at buying a '83 4 dr turbo diesel or a '84 swapped turbo diesel.. can't wait.

@1997vwgolf Nope it's just stock, some of the MK2 Golfs came with that Jetta-ish front end, although I have seen different front ends on different year MK2 Golfs.

@1997vwgolf That's his other car, I call it Minty cause it's calypso green. :P It's a Golf actually, but the front does look like a Jetta lol.
