Warning: Jailbreak on Mac OS X 10.5.6 Has Problems

In this video, I address an ongoing concern with jailbreaking problems with the latest Pwnage Tool/QuickPwn and Mac OS X. This is mainly with the latest revision, 10.5.6. Apple recently updated their USB drivers in 10.5.6 which hinders the iPhone/iPod Touch from going into DFU mode. It's essentially a bug in the IOUSBFamily kernel extension. This news first broke back in December, and many came up with workarounds to downgrade the USB drivers or to simply use a USB hub. I've personally suggested to my users who have asked to use a USB hub which seemed to address the issue. Now I'm not sure why these issues have reached the forefront today, but some believe it may be due to the Quicktime 7.6 update which was released by Apple. At any rate, my recommendation for those of you on the fence to jailbreak, to wait a few days until the smoke clears from this latest uprising. If you have Mac OS X 10.5.6 and Quicktime 7.6, and you feel uncomfortable with all these hinderances, I would hold off on jailbreaking. @skiketchup all os' have their share of issues. windows, linux and mac all have thier share of issues. it all depends upon what you are wanting your pc to do as to what os you should use. so leave the fuckin fanboy comment to the console gamers community!
