Truly healthy fast food isn't purchased at the drive through. Instead it is available at home, quickly and easily, with a small bit of knowledge, foresight, and preparation. You can make your own delicious vegetable smoothie. You don't need a heavy duty vitamix blender to create a healthy smoothie at home, any blender will do. You do need to plan ahead and get in the kitchen and practice so you can discover what combination of frozen veggies (and maybe a very little fruit) will taste best to you.
Specific Information:
Vitamix CIA Pro - a gift from my dear friend Dr. Amit Patel. I use this tool multiple times a week in the kitchen. Works incredibly well.
Vital Nutrients New Zealand High Protein Whey Powder - a pure whey protein from the happiest cows on the planet. No added sweeteners or flavors, just pure whey goodness. Hands down my favorite whey protein. Happy cows produce happy dairy. If you eat dairy, how are your cows treated?
Arbonne Essentials Chocolate Protein Powder (also comes in vanilla) - a great vegan protein blend without soy based protein. Super tasty and my favorite alternative for patients that can't do whey. I almost never recommend soy as a protein source, especially in powder form.
Juice Plus+ Complete is my fav. protein powder, although it has some soy :) Thanks for your videos!

@healthynama Thanks for watching my YouTube channel. I am huge Juice Plus+ fan and have been taking the capsules for almost 3 years. I have yet to try the new JP+ complete powder but had used the previous formulation. I stopped because soy based proteins just don't sit well with me. I personally do much better with other veggie based proteins or whey. I do plan on trying the new complete powder soon to see if the changed processing makes a difference. Thanks again!

I can tell you follow Dr. Mercola by the glass water bottle you use. Do you ever try using coconut water instead or do you think that's too high in sugar?

@Cristyn28 Thanks for checking out my videos. I will use coconut water and sometimes coconut milk, as long as it is unsweetened it is fair game. I also will use raw milk when I am looking for more calories and fat if I have been working out harder at the gym and I am trying to build more muscle. Do you have any favorite smoothie recipes or extras to share? Thanks again. ~Dr. S
