Demi: "Why didn't anyone wake me?"
JM: "Aw, honey we wanted you to get some sleep. Joe told us you had a pretty crazy night on saturday." My eyes grew to the size of golfballs. That's the thing about big families likes the Jonas's. They are close, very close.
Demi: "Oh my gosh, Joseph!"
Joe: *chewing his bagel* "What?"
Demi: *rolls eyes* "Nick, what are you doing?"
Nick: His voice was muffled because he was sticking his head in many cabinets, "I'm looking for my blue water bottle, but Frankster is making it kinda difficult."
Demi: I laughed, "I think it's in the sink, Nick."
Nick: "What? Oh."
Selena: "Smooth, Nick. Real smooth."
Nick: He let Frankie down and scoffed at Selena, "Psht, I totally knew it was there."
Selena: "Oh you SO did not."
Nick: "Oh you're gonna regret doubting me."
Selena: "You think i'm scared of you, little boy?"
Nick: "You're only two years older than me!"
Selena: "Yes and with those two years I'm legal to do a few things you aren't, therefore I am way more mature."
Nick: He ran up to her and picked her up, throwing her over his shoulder.
Selena: "Hey! Put me down!"
Nick: He went into the living room and threw her on the couch, tickling her furiously.
Demi: I whispered into Joe's ear, "I think someone has a little crush on someone else and that someone else also has a crush on that someone."
Joe: "I think someone needs to speak english."
Demi: "Nick and Selena, they gaga for eachother."
Joe: "Gaga? Like...Lady GaGa?"
Demi: I rolled my eyes and laughed, "Oh my...no not like Lady GaGa. Like GAGA, like...crazy for eachother."
Joe: "Oh!"
Demi: "Yeah."
JD: "Don't mind him, Demi. He forgets to use his brain sometimes."
Demi: "I can see that,"
Frankie: "Demi has boobies!"
Demi: "What?"
Joe: Joe was choking on his bagel because he was laughing so hard.
DM: "Frank!"
Frankie: "What?! Joe told me he saw Demi's and she has boobies!"
DM: "Of course she does, she's a lady."
Frankie: "Joe said she isn't a girl."
Demi: "What?"
Joe: "No, I didn't mean it like that!"
Demi: I put my hand in the air, confused, "HUH?"
Joe: "I just meant that I sometimes forget you're a girl and you have...parts."
Demi: "Oh my God, this is so awkward." I grabbed my coffee mug and walked out of the kitchen and onto the patio.
[Joe]
Joe: "Awwwwwkwaarrrrdddddd...."
JM: "You saw Demi naked? Oh my goodness, are you two finally together?"
Joe: "Mom, what?!"
JM: "Well, I just figured you two would eventually realize you love eachother and maybe get married and have childr-"
Joe: "Stop fantasizing, mom. Demi and I are best friends. That is ALL. And I accidently walked in on her as she was getting out of the shower, it's no big deal."
Chanelle: "I bet you make her feel bad when you tell her you don't think of her as a girl."
Joe: "Why?"
Kevin: Kevin and Chanelle looked at eachother, "No girl wants to be thought of as just one of the guys."
Joe: "Demi does."
Selena: *calling from the living room* "No she doesn't!"
Joe: "Okay, i'll go apologize."
I walked outside and sat next to Demi on the bench, "I'm sorry about Frankie and I don't think of you as just a guy, Dems."
She looked at me, her chocolate eyes glistening in the morning sun, "I know, it's alright."
I put my arm around her and pulled her in for a hug, "You're my best friend, D and I love you. I'd do anything for you, you know that right?"
I could feel her lips form a smile into the crook of my neck. "I do now, thanks. And I love you too, bud."
If she was my best friend, why did this hug feel so different from any other hug we've ever shared?
