That depends, usually the AV components are left on a shelf/rack and the AV cable is routed to the lift. But all the installations are custom, sometime the bed frame is custom made with the shleves already. If you have any more questions, feel free to contact me. My user name is my email address ;)

This is true. Pricing would be similar.
But a TV lift cabinet would not have the same "cool factor"! HAHAHA!

Joe, This thing is great. Pricing is competitive with other means of hiding a large screen display, when you take costs of construction, custom cabinetry (or the lack there of) into consideration.

I agree. This product isnt for everyone. Ideal application for those that do not wish to obstruct view, like in condos, ocean view, etc. But thanks for your comments.

Great idea but the pricing I just saw in my email makes it seem like a very limited market will ever use it.
