@DCSPEED23 That's because Bayliss slowed down and tried to hold up Edwards, hoping his team mate Xaus would catch up and put Colin in third. That's the only way Troy would of won the title. If he won and Colin came third. Xaus was a useless cock head team mate anyway. Caused Bayliss to have that big off mid year.

Edwards "2002 Consistancy Cup Champion". Bayliss had more wins that year, won in Motogp and had consistant podiums there also.
What has Edwards done in all his time in GP?????? Career av. 6th place. Yet he's been given a Motogp career free-pass for some reason???????
Edwards, good but no Troy Bayliss. He only has half the heart of an Australian, that's why he's only half as good as the G.O.A.T Troy. And his half Australianism is the reason he has talent, not because he's from Texas.

Simply awesome riding there, i think people seem to have forgotten just what an awesome rider Colin Edwards is, and in recent years in MotoGP he seems to have lost the hunger that this clip clearly shows he had then and the reson why i started following him in 2002/03,
Perhaps we need to see the Tornado on a Honda again, as Yamaha doesn't seem to suit him,

Very true.... you dont often see close racing like this anymore.....And its such a pity that Bayliss is going to retire....
