Yeah, she is underrated here in the States. It pisses me off. She out sings all those no talent whores we've had here this decade. Kim Wilde was and still is way above that stuff. Her voice made her famous. She didn't have to be a whore to be a success. She was actually talented unlike pop stars of today.

Plus almost everything on 'Select' & 'Another Step', plus many b-sides she's never EVER done! She's got a lousy memory but an even lousier opinion of hoer own stuff. In the sexist 80s, where women were not leaders & got little promotion beyond the 1st album, the cow from hell appeared for no toher reason than to make money-it couldn't sing, dance, write songs, all it could do was fuck! And boy did it do it. Think about it-if everyone else was whoring around with every attention-seeking device known to man & getting 10 singles off each LP!

But hell yeah-not to offend any US-ers but they only did know how to dig their own shit & paw it off on dumb UK & everywhere else & are too prejudiced & dumb to understand real music and the multi-faceted approaches of cool people like Kim.
