@FriendLondonFriend Well, yeah....actually the music itself does indeed evoke thoughts about an era that is somewhat later then the timeframe depicted in the video. I just selected it mostly due to its feel for a light afternoon drive.

Lets hope the happy couple bought some Bay Area real estate while they were on vacation, back then.
.
Isn't this music a bit young for this video era?
Just wondering.
Thanks for posting.
.
Cheers.

@jjgriffinjr, I believe thats an area no longer there just north of Santa Rosa Ca. called Larkfield on the old Redwood Hwy. Not absolutely sure though.

what method did you use to transfer this film to digital? what equipment?

@Steph6n I use a WorkPrinter from MovieStuff, and capture into Final Cut Pro where I then apply re-timing and color restoration.

@lunarparcel thanks!! Man those are cool units. Expensive venture. I'd love to own one though, my dad has a box full of 8mm that we recently dug up and played on an old projector I got for free. I'm glad I asked though, it's a good website with lots of info on the types of machines out there. Do you use yours for business, transferring other people's footage or just for personal?

@Steph6n I initially set it up for business purposes, but life got in the way over the last couple of years and I haven't been able to use it as much as I had hoped. I am hoping to get it going again in the next year and putting it to good use.
