I've never really added a comment to a video before but I am a big fan of Pippin and this song in particular. You do a very lovely job with the song and, contrary to what another poster says, actually followed good protocol for your interpretation. You perform the song as-is and, following an instrumental interlude, finish up with your own spin. That is classic showmanship. Also, in general, anyone who gets hung up on "how" something should be performed doesn't quite "get" it. Cheers

Nick, It's not so much as you 'sucked' but as a comment on what the song was supposed to be in in the original.
I am a member of Stage Actor's Equity, and it is, in my opinion, much harder to perform a song as the composer intended it, instead of 'making it your own'. I meant no insult.Just simplify. The runs and higher octave stuff just detracts from it. Again.....my opinion. You are good, but you can be better without adding your .....stuff. All I was saying.
