  • simplify 14 x 2 y / 7 x 2 y

  • @carmenmelendez1 Assuming that the x means "times", then (14 times 2y) over (7 times 2y)...

    the 2y cancels from the top and bottom, leaving you with 14 over 7, which simplifies to 2.
