  • Guys, what nasal voice r u talking about?when has carnatic music ever cared about the voice? remember Maharajapuram santhanam ?

also .. nabhi hrut kantha rasana Nasadula yandu sobhillu saptaswaram

Regarding the Bhavam, nice alapana.. and the kruthi is a fast paced one, and with less notes per beat bhavams are hiden anyway... May be If some one sang Sree Rangapura vihara, then the Bhavam aspect gets wide attention.. but for this one, this rendition is good. the krithi is so rare and so weldone SR

  • @TheVasutube .... very well said, I was more than happy about his rendering and also such a rare krithi of thyagaraja swamy ..... esp one has to develop a GOOD EAR ( enjoy the music than to look for faults and comment about he is nasal bla bla blah ...... if one sees the final goal of the music its divinity...and we could see Rama @@@ his rendering ...

  • true justification for the raaga!

  • I am glad he brought out an awesome krithi of Thyagaraja ,

  • @avator12 The singing is perfect raga wise but it is mechanical, and even contrived. You don't get into the feel of this krithi as much, and nor if there is artificial injection of emotions as some singers try to do. And yes his voice is nasal.

  • @kamakotisankara-well said.

@carnaticmusic98-Just try 2 take some good things 4rom his music rather than commenting on his voice.

  • @tbksandeep79: I respectfully disagree tkbsandeep sir. Bhavam is an individual element and it raagam is simply a means to achieve bhavam. The musicians job is to render a krithi with perfect raaga bhavam, so that we the listeners can use the nectar eminent in the music as a means to attain a higher state of conciousness. Saketha ramen has done a beautiful job in flawlessly rendering the krthi. It is now up to the audience to feel the bhakti that tyagaraja composed this krthi with.

  • A nasal voice but very technical in rendering the raga in the full fledge. Nice presentation but lacked Bhava and Bhakti element. he concentrated more on raga rather than on bhava..Saketha Raman if you are reading this please concentrate on Bhava

  • He has a very nasal voice.

  • yes.true!
