first look motorola 68060 speeder for atari falcon

first look on my new 90 mhz CT63 speeder for my 16 mhz atari falcon .... with that speeder, i can listen to my mp3´s and surfing the net and painting some photos with red eyes or something like that ... all together now ... speeds up the standard 16 mhz 20 times faster (~150mips)... cost round about 350€

Are these things still made? I thought they were no longer manafactured...

I have a 16mhz Falcon which I traded for a Cybervision PPC Amiga graphics card but I've never used the Falcon since I made the trade, lol

@Jivemaster2005 my was 3rd or 4th series i do not know exactly delivered in april 2009 this series have 25 units and my is the last i think ... because i paid last ... i get an email some weeks ago ... he want to make one more series... write rudolphe czuba fast on powerphenix website if you want one ... if its not to late i do not check this out

Running at 90MHz, must give a little more than 130MIPS. Nice.

-Isn't it amazing that my Mac still doesn't fully beat the unmodified Falcon 030 ? :)

(eg. a simple things as a text-editor, one text-editor - faster than Tempus - was written for the Atari, and no text-editor on the Mac is as fast, not even "the world's fastest text-editor" from FantAsm).

I really miss the 68xxx instruction set in today's CPUs and microcontrollers.

@HRHShawnPendragone amiga is only faster with faster cpu and 3d graphics card ... but if you buy 3d card you can use also pc ... i do not bought ctpci with radeon, because its not real atari feeling ...

nowadays amiga 060 demos shortly ported to atari falcon , and there are still cpu time left, with same cpu atari is faster ...

i ordered the supervidel 3d speeder for ct060, but this is 100% register compatible ... so every demo and every other programm for falcon works ...
