Brilliant throat Marijana Mijanovic
I like it indeed and this piece of Handel such splendid piece

No sound ?I do hear beautiful sounds though. Her phrasing is great and very clear. As for projection, I heard her in concert in London, and I must reassure you, you can hear her even at the very rear of the room. She simply chooses to sing in a different way. She can sing more traditionally (see Bajazet from Vivaldi and La Resurrezione from Handel),but she just decides to sing like noone else,to be faithful to her own self, which makes her all the more special. She's an excellent baroque singer.

@wienerfr It's amazing the range of posters....it really is comical!

Why do people think contraltos don't have flexible voices? I can sing in contralto through mezzo soprano range. Granted I am not learned enough yet to make as quick of jumps like Marijana does, but women with low voices and low ranges can still be flexible.

Someone here mentions Monica Sinclair. I heard her sing this part at Covent Garden in the sixties. The fury is what matters here, and she had it. So does this singer but with all due respect, not enough.

She is so good. She has the agility of a light soprano. Thanks for posting

IMHO divine Marijana Mijanovic besides her artistry has the most beautiful contralto voice I've ever heard!

Brava! Excellent!
What is stupid here is your discussion. You are both extremists. Please cool down. All tastes are in nature, lol.
