Actually imagine your stance when you shoot a pistol and use that when you fire an AR. Square stance, square your shoulders, lean forward slightly and put your weight slightly over your toes and tuck your elbows in to your ribs. That stance makes you nice and rigid so you arent affected by recoil. Download or watch The Art of the Tactical Carbine by Magpul Dynamics if you wanna learn how to shoot tactically. If you wanna sharpshoot at distance, join the Marine Corp, they are second to none.

@MarineHopeful93-- It works better down,and there is less of you to be shot back at in CQB So keep your elbows down & tucked in leaning forwards. Makes for a better shooting stance. If your goal is to be a Marine V-good choice, They will teach you the same.Best to you in your quest, yl
