@skye13 Gold Plated guitar jacks dont do anything for sound it ONLY prevents corrosion
-
@CrankyBuddha you lied change it to 7:13 if you want to see him struggle with anti-noob tape
-
5:55 for those who want to see box being raped by his hands :)
-
@skye13 Gold is malleable and can mold into most usb ports easily. It's not even that good of a conductor compared to silver and what not
-
7:13 for those who want to see the keyboard :)
-
your pro when you use a standard keyboard and mouse
-
@Carpythesharky Nop, silver is the best conductor, copper a close second. The reason they use gold is because it doesn't corrode so that provides a huge lifespan and it's a decent enough conductor.
-
@killyamomz I heard this issue more often about turtlebeach, but I can't say for sure it's them.
-
Gold is just a better conductor, that's the only reason it is used.
But what is the Difrents between the Elite edition and the Expert edition?
because i have the exact same keyboard as you but i have the Expert edition.
also with 50g touching and 50Million strokes. So i don't se really much the difrents between the keyboards.

@DeadLikeSilence the Elite is the BlackWidow Ultimate, it has backlit keys, USB hub and headset jacks. The Expert is just the standard BlackWidow

nice keyboard but honestly, gold plated USB connector?! WHY?! lol i understand when they gold plate guitar jacks for clear sound and stuff... but not the usb. Sounds to me just like another selling point for Razer. usbs do not corrode, and they dont need to be so fine tuned as connectors used for sound recording. just my point of view.
