@denizhamamcioglu How would an engine revving during idle have anything to do with the tail lights?

the problem is with the tail lights. if you replace the left taillight, it'll get fixed!

WTF? How about you scan your ECU for codes, huh? Obviously you have a CEL. We can keep guessing forever, cause million things can make your car idle like that

simple, you use higher octane. it worked for my celica gts

throw a new distributer lines &plugs it will run fine p.s. a tuneup might help too...

Sounds like distributor isnt firing a plug properly or the plugs need changing could also be the idle air controller as mentioned by doomster9
