This is an intriguing topic, but to me it seems based on so much speculative history. With what we know of the history and the legends of the Knights Templar and Freemasons, can we really be certain that a Templar/Masonic treasure, whether temporal or spiritual, even exists?

The 5 pointed Pentagram is an ancient symbol that stands for the 5 wounds of Christ. It existed before the Romans issued the Cross as the holy symbol

To reply to sqwankymonk
The Templar Kights in the end were betrayed by the catholic church so for them to join the Free Masons, who were against the catholic church makes a lot of sense (PS i don't realy beleive in that but it is good to keep an open mind)

Its crazy.....religion to fight in the name of GOD!
If you want to know a more in-depth history of this, just read "Solomon's Power Brokers". I wont give the authors' names so it doesnt look like I'm selling you something, but I read it, and it was VERY interesting and seemed to answer a lot of questions I had.
And remember-- "Open your mind before you open your mouth" : Boowitz. Peace.
