Common Snapping turtle tank. Male and Female

my 2 common snapping turtles eating hamburger. they are about 6 months old. one is a male one is a female. in the other tank is my lemon oscar and a common oscar along with 2 male eastern painted turtles that are about 5

You shouldn't be feeding it hamburguers it's way too high in fat and just unhealthy plain out. You shouldn't be housing two snappers together to begin with. :/ oh well. Not like you'll listen.

@Dimunic actually pricky i have only 1 as of now, its the male. female got too big and i let her go months ago. she was under a year old and this would be the first winter she experienced so i have no doubt in my mind that she survived. i think this is the first and last time i have ever fed hamburger to my turtles. usually i just keep them on a fish and stick diet. will post an updated video soon, thanks.

will a baby snapper go with a baby red eared slider?

@TheMysteryman334 yes they will but i wouldnt do it for long. the snapper will get bigger then the slider wayyyy faster and they may eventually fight eachother. i just let go the female the other day cause they were fighting bad :/

@jdhoutz yea they are around 7 now, they are on a diet of krill, pellets, baby mice, and some of this hambuger once in a while lol but yea they grew big pretty fast i have to get rid of the female soon cause they will kill eachother in a couple months if it gets too crowded

wow! they look excellent! nice shell stucture!.mine are way older and still aint got past that ''blackish stage'' u know what i mean,.. there half ish, there big but apparantly ur diet is pro!, very good job,!

@ImAman555 the males are gonna mature really fast so anything alive in tank is fair game! lol

when u do feed hamburger mix it up with ground up egg shells for extra calcium, there time of growth is very crueltial, mine had a hollow feel in  its shell cause he grew so fast so.. hamburger with calcium once a weeek should cover it =)

@ImAman555 thanks for the reply i was hoping i could keep with oscars, can i ask if i get 2 almost adult size oscar with the baby snapping turtle and a striped raphael. will that work out in your oppinion?
