The thing nobody else is doing but his is visible when he separates from his "stick" - he pushes away from it like he jumps more up, that gives him at least 20cm more

Hooker is nowhere near. He han't jumped higher than 6.00m outdoors, that's 14cm off the outdoors world record.

bubka would have jumped..maybe 6.30m if he hadnt used the one cm at a time strategy. but i understand his strategy..as it meant more money for him...and more world record attempts which is good for the crowd.
