Performing my brand new song, "Burn Out" live at a local venue. (Lyrics below.)

There were lots of people in this place. When I got to this song on my set list, almost everyone stopped to listen to the words, and the energy of the crowd totally fed into my performance. It was a really awesome experience; the kind that's difficult to capture in words. Let me know what you thought of the song!

I keep coming to this song as an analogy to life. It may not be what we had in mind, and most likely not as good as any of us wanted it to be. It could end tomorrow in the worst way. We may go our entire lives without ever achieving anything we consider worth doing. But until it fades away, we should enjoy whatever there is left of it.
