After my divorce, my ex denied me visitation with our daughter, so I was not allowed to be there while my child was growing up.
On Mother's Day of this year, I found my daughter. She's 21 now, and I had not seen her since she was 4. She and I have spent countless hours undoing the lies that my ex told her over the years. I hope someday Angela will understand that there are two sides to every story, and that not everything that you hear from one parent is necessarily the truth.
